Bordeaux, Paris and the Seine
Does Tauck go to the Louvre, Notre Dame or the Eiffel Tower while in Pais on this tour? I don't see any of these listed on the itinerary but this will be our 5th Tauck tour and in the past guides have arranged visits that were not on the itinerary. Trying to decide if we should arrange on our own during our "free time".

This is a new cruise for the Seine this year and I believe the first sailing for this itinerary just ended so not a large pool of experience here with it.
You really only have 1 sight seeing day in Paris. You won't reach the ship until mid afternoon on Day 4 with enough time to check into your cabin, unpack and attend the required safety briefing and orientation talk. That leaves Day 5 with either a walking tour of the Latin Quarter or a drive by coach tour of the city where you may see those sights. If you're asking about an actual guided tour inside those sights then no Tauck likely won't be including them. The cruise director may be willing to help you see them at your cost but some of the sights like the Eiffel tower you need tickets bought well in advance or risk long wait lines.
If you want to see Paris you'd be better off to add time at the end of the cruise for a stay in the city and the time to see all you want. More and more of Tauck river cruises don't include much sight seeing at the major cities the cruise start or end at. The assumption being you'll add extra days because there is so much to see.
You can request reservations thru Tauck at the post-cruise hotel for this tour or book your own hotel. If you use Tauck's, all transfer arrangements they will take care of - to the hotel and later to the airport. If you book your own stay at a different hotel, then you'll only get one transfer. Easiest is to get a cab from the ship to the hotel, then have Tauck arrange the airport transfer.
Reneel - If taking the 2027 cruise, Tauck’s brochure indicates a visit to “one of Paris’ world-renowned museums” on day 5. I do not know what the 2026 brochure indicates, nor have I checked the website.
Since you are already familiar with Tauck, you know that itineraries can change and surprises frequently occur. Good luck to you!
