So Africa/Botswana/zimbabwe
This is our 2nd Africa trip. I am wondering abt what currency to use for our guides’ tip. I don’t remember what form of currency we gave our tour guide when we did Kenya/Tanzania. He was British and would have been happy with whatever form. On our last 2 trips the tour guide said they had Venmo accts. That would certainly be much more convenient than bringing that much cash with us. Anyone have thoughts abt this?

We used U.S. currency.
I’m pretty certain they don’t want the currency of any country you are visiting. Give them dollars. They know how to exchange money.
