I am surprised there are no comments about this itinerary since July 2025, and most are much older.
My wife and I just did a last-minute booking on the upcoming August 25 departure.
Anything we need to know that Tauck hasn't provided?
We're looking forward to the trip! Friends have recommended it highly.

One of the best tours we've taken with Tauck! We went in July 2023, and will always remember the beauty of Vancouver Island, Jasper, Banff, Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Breathtaking Canada 🇨🇦
Canada is so majestic as is this tour, so much so that we took it twice and I hope to do it even again.
Be prepared for possible variations in weather. A versatile, mix and match wardrobe is best, as is layering. I suggest monitoring a moving ten-day weather forecast and adjust your packing accordingly.

It’s many years since we took this tour, it may have been called something different but we visited all the places mentioned.
Hi Bob, we are on this tour the end of July and are really looking forward to it. We just received 2 Tauck duffle bags to be used for the overnight train ride. Back in 2005, my husband and I did the Best of the Canadian Rockies as our first Tauck tour and now 21 years later we want to go back, but see Butchart Gardens, train ride and repeat some of the areas we visited before. We will pack layers, since as kfnknfzk noted, the weather is variable.
