Journey Through Japan - July 2026

We, grandpa, grandma, son and 16 yr old grandson, are looking forward to this tour. We arrive on July 5 and have the morning/afternoon of July 6 free. We would welcome thoughts / suggestions for activities: Disneyland Tokyo? Tokyo DisneySea? Other attractions not on our scheduled tour? or perhaps stay and relax at hotel pool?

    Many 16 year olds are anime and manga fans. If that is the case with your grandson, there are certain areas to visit.

    We did Tokyo Disney Sea. It was well worth the trip and an easy train ride from the Tauck hotel. The park is very unique and is nothing like Disney in the states. We purchased our tickets ahead of time on the Klook app. It saves time and is less expensive than buying tickets at the gate. The people start lining up about an hour before it opens. The food is a treat, and the popcorn buckets are very unique. Enjoy!
