Quinta Walking Tour?

in Villages and Vintages: Cruising the Douro River Valley

Hi! I’ll be on the Andorinha in October. Does anyone have any feedback on the Upper Douro Quinta Tour and Tasting? I’d love to join that excursion, but I’m wondering about the walking with arthritic knees. I walk 3 miles on the streets at home daily.

    If it is the same Quinta we toured in 2021, you are driven to the winery and will be given an opportunity to walk the vineyards. Both the activity and pace levels are rated ‘2’ so you should not have a problem. Comfortable and sturdy shoes are imperative. You can always remain at the Quinta, sip your wine and enjoy the lovely scenery.

    I agree with @kfnknfzk; the downward slope of the path is very gentle; the views are spectacular. You will have a great time!
