When to travel May-June or September?

I’d love your input on when is the best time to go on this trip. Thanks for your help.

    I had a Tour Director from Croatia on one of my Tauck River Cruises. She said the best weather in Croatia was in May. Of course, with weather patterns being so weird these days, it's impossible to predict......................

    We went in September and didn't have any serious problems. I remember rain one day.

    We were there last August. We had no choice of the date and were concerned it would be too hot but we were pleasantly surprised that it was fine.

    It was lovely in September when I took this trip, which is one of my favorites. But you never know...

    We went in Sept 2022 and loved the trip. Weather was beautiful, some rain in Ljubljana and Venice, but otherwise beautiful!

    We just came back from he June 4 trip and the weather was fine. Europe has been warm this year but Croatia did not experience the high temperatures as in Paris.

    We were just on the June 14 trip and the heat was the worst! I’d opt for September! (Plus, Venice was more crowded.). If you try to search the ´weather in Croatia’, you won’t get the truth, just marketing.

    We did the trip a few years ago in September. Dubrovnik and the beginning of the trip were really hot, but as the trip progressed, the weather got cooler. (I should have packed a change of shorts.)

    We took this great trip towards the end of May 2022. Weather was perfect. Given the recent heat wave in Europe, I would recommend early May to avoid the heat.
