We did the Best of Ireland back in 2018 and played golf at several places. You can look at our blog - https://www.mikeandjudytravel.com/2018Ireland-01.htm - and see what we did. Since it was some years ago, I'd have to review it myself to see where we played. As I remember, the club rental, green fees and cart rental was not that expensive. I think we took some balls - I don't remember if the rental of clubs came with balls - probably did.
Haven't done this trip quite yet but soon. There is a free day at Ashford Castle and golf is one of the available experiences. At least for 2026 this is day 8.
