Help! We are budget conscious and the cheapest tours are in June, July or Sept . Which one would be the better choice re:
seeing lots of animals
Would we see baby animals in Sept?
rainfall
temp
Sept is $2,00o more than June. Would it be worth it?
Want the best experience possible and can't decide which to choose!

Google, the best time to visit South Africa. And average temperatures in Cape Town, Kruger and Johannesburg. Also when is the breeding season etc.
British is correct. Check out temperature and rain estimates. We are going in September this year, expecting good temps for walking in Capetown. Krueger and Falls somewhat warmer, but nice. Less water over falls in September, but great for picture taking. Dry season on safari brings animals together to water holes ( you will see plenty whenever you go ). And Dry season means less chance of mosquitoes or tse tse flies.
We went in the middle of May and saw the Big 5 and much much more. Cape Town was comfortable, but it is the start of their rainy season. We lucked out with no rain though. It was dry on safari. Temps were cool in the morning and evenings, and comfortable in the afternoon (maybe high 70's-80ish). Victoria Falls was gushing that time of year. There's lots of spray and I think a little harder to actually appreciate the falls. I think there's not a bad season to go though, maybe just personal preference. Not one mosquito the entire trip and I'm a magnet.
