Question - plug adapters do we need for South Africa and Zimbabwe?

Thanks Sam! We are prepared! We are flying in on the 14th and staying at Babylonstoren for 5 nights prior to moving over to the Cape Grace on the 19 Aug. We are from Northern California. See you both in Cape Town.

My wife and I are going on this trip tour starting September 3rd. Really looking forward to it. My wife and I were questioning whether we need to bring a raincoat - the communication from our tour director seems to be clear we should bring one. For others that have done this tour, is it good to have a backpack when you are out during the day, or some type of crossbody?
Did the trip in April.
Raincoat - yes, bring one.
Crossbody/backpack - personal preference based on what you like to bring with you during the day. Maybe yes some days, maybe no on other days.
Here is a picture of a rain coat that I brought and wore once. Picture is from lobby of hotel in Johannesburg along with our TD Mitch Bloom.
Had Mitch as our TD on Elegant Adventure last October. He was great. Only had rain sprinkles one night on the way back to the lodge. No rainwear needed.
