Train Stations close to Royal Horseguards

Coming in via train from Birmingham, England on July 12, 2014, the day before our tour starts.

What train station should our destination be, closest to Royal Horseguards Hotel, and will Tauck make arrangements to pick us up at the train station?

  • You really need to call Tauck about something so specific as being picked up at a station. Email or call the hotel and ask them which is the nearest station, it may be only a few yards from the hotel, hardly worth being picked up if that is the case.

Tauck will pick you up at whatever London station your train arrives. Depending on the rail company you choose, which I assume will be Chiltern, Virgin or London Midland, you'll probably arrive at either London Euston or London Marylebone. Tauck will pick you up there or at any of the other train stations like Paddington, Victoria, St Pancras, Waterloo, Charing Cross, etc. , just like they do if you arrive at an airport (Heathrow, Gatwick, etc.).

You just need to tell Tauck where and what time you will arrive a few weeks before the tour starts so they can arrange a car- it can be done right here on the Tauck website at Guest Connect.

If for some reason they can't or the connection isn't made upon arrival you can always take a cab to the Royal Horseguards or the tube to the Embankment station which is about 1/2 block away.
