French Esacapade June 13, 2015 Monte Carlo to Paris

We are taking our first Tauck River Boat Cruise (Have taken many cruises but not River Cruises). We are arriving in Monte Carlo one day early and wondered about how transfers are handled from the Cote D'Azur airport in Nice to the Hotel etc. Arriving on British Air out of Miami. Also any hints on wardrobe etc .

    Once you've paid your final bill, you'll get your travel documents - a nicely spiral bound booklet with all your travel details - which will include an exact description of how to find the Tauck driver at your destination. If you make your own flight arrangements, make sure Tauck knows them.

    For wardrobe, look under "Packing Tips" and "Before You Go" tabs on your trips web page. Most nights it's fairly casual on the ship, thought most dressed up a bit on the first and last nights.

    We did the French Waterways last Jul. Most nights, men wore collared golf shirts and cotton slacks, women wore capris or casual summer skirts and tops. We also were surprised by some cool, rainy days and yet the tour 2 weeks before had such hot weather people didn't want to go on the tour. Pack for hot summer weather but bring a very light rain proof jacket (the kind that packs down to nothing) and sweaters/wraps for enjoying the top deck in the evening.

    I see your tour also includes the dinner at Fouquets. Most men wore jackets and/or ties and the ladies were split about 50/50 in dresses or nice slacks/top.
