We applied online and saw that it was “issued”, but how do we get it? Is it emailed? It has been a week since it was issued. Or is it snail mailed to us? Thanks for any info.

It is an electronic visa. Did you apply directly to the Government of Kenya website (or one of the many look-a-like websites that say "official" but are not!?) If it was the government site:
"Once the it is approved, the evisa will be made available to your evisa account. You must print a copy to carry with your passport and bring it along when you travel to Kenya. When you arrive in Kenya, you must have your evisa printout with your passport."
The websites www.evisa-kenya.com and www.kenya-evisa-online.com (and possibly others) are NOT affiliated with the Kenyan government in any way. DO NOT APPLY FOR AN EVISA THROUGH THESE WEBSITES!!!
