May 25 Rhine and Moselle cruise
We are on the May 25 Rhine and Moselle cruise from Amsterdam. We do not have the complimentary hotel night and transfer to the ship but need to make our own way to the boat. We are told to call the ship the morning of the day of departure and get our own way to the boat. Has anyone ever done this before? Have visions of trying to find the ship the day we leave!

We took an Uber a few years ago from the hotel to the dock where I found out in advance where the ship would be docked. Write down the address of the dock location for the Uber Driver and he'll get you there. It was easy peasy.

Unless things have changed with covid, the river cruise ships dock just east of the central train station ( trams and buses too) between it and the big passenger terminal for the big ocean going cruises and the Movenpick hotel. Pull up a map of central Amsterdam and you'll see them. Call the ship and find out specifically where.
Alternatively you could go to the pretour hotel and ride with the group leaving from there. They usually leave about 3 but you'd need to confirm with a Tour Director or call and talk to the Tauck Cruise Director on board.
