We have been on several (5.5 land tours, the point 5 is because last year we were in Halifax when the hurricane hit so had to leave on day 2) land tours and we are aware of the thanks to the Tour Director and bus driver. is there anything like this on the river tour like this one?

    No. Gratuities for the TDs and drivers are included on river cruises. This is because you are supported by a team on TDs and drivers, rather a dedicated TD and a dedicated driver.

    One thing I forget to mention, years ago on a cruise the TD said that if any member of the ships crew (including Scylla employees) is particularly helpful to mention them by name in your end of tour comment card. Apparently they get quite pleased to hear they were mentioned.
