Sunbathers?

Hello,

I will be going on the Treasures of the Mediterranean Northbound Tour in August 2018. Do people sunbathe on the La Ponant or do they just do it on the islands? I am assuming the weather will be warm enough in late August and early September?

My understanding of the cruises Tauck does means that the boats are almost purely where you sleep because most of the time is packed with siteseeing. If you need time to telax, the best thing to do is extend your visit and chill at the end of the tour. When we have been on a Tauck's tour, we feel we need a relaxing vacation to recover. If you read the fairly detailed itinerary of the tour on the website, you sound as if you only get a little downtime, but you can chose to forego any of the tour days to sunbathe, but don't forget the sunscreen, sunbathing is an unhealthy activity. ????

If you look on the deck plan for the ship - us.ponant.com - you'll see a sun deck with loungers so I'd assume at least some people do some basking in the sun.
