Another Covid mystery?

The above article makes me convinced that the illness my husband and others had on our Tauck China tour last November with fever and cough that lasted for weeks was indeed Covid 19. Unfortunately for us, we can’t give blood donations in the US, no one who has lived in The UK can due to chance of us having Mad Cow disease .....no jokes my way please😀

  • You could get an antibody test to confirm your suspicion.

  • At almost a year on, he would be unlikely to still have circulated antibodies. He would only have them show again if he is exposed to the virus again, which we hope he has not.

  • I just got an email from my best friend in England, she’s a nurse, sounds as if things are well organized in my old home town

    ‘Southfields council offices has been assigned for the hub for everyone in Loughborough to go to for their vaccination.. I did offer to be a vaccinator but I am too old as over 60’s are high risk . But a lot of nhs staff are being redeployed to work as vaccinators.
    I am impressed it all seems to be working well . The COVID test centres are easily accessible and there is no queuing.’
