Jordan & Egypt warm-up movie
Toady we saw the new Kenneth Branagh version of Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile starring Branagh, Annette Bening, Gal Gadot, etc. Branagh produced, directed, and starred (Hercule Poirot). I was a bit disappointed with the cinematography- mostly composites of real shots of the Giza/Pyramids and Abu Simbel (minus the right temple) and CGI. Most of the film took place aboard an old-time Nile cruiser (many scenes likely filmed on a sound stage). It still got me pumped for our upcoming J&E!!

AlanS You'll have the opportunity to watch the original from the comfort of your lovely suite at the Old Cataract Hotel. It is on demand or if the equipment seems too complicated to operate, the front desk will send someone up to your suite to start the movie.
Just watched this also - yes, we definitely want to do this tour!
