The Tauck water bottles are cute, but very heavy. I used it in the room, but carried a disposable (box-style) water bottle and refilled it for excursions.
Most of the Tauck water bottles we have received over the years have been stainless steel, but were only single-walled, so the water warmed up quickly. Also, none had good quick spouts.
Just returned from the Blue Danube cruise. The stainless steel water bottles were in our room once we boarded the ship. There is a filling station you use on board the ship to use. . On the land portions of the trip there was usually bottled water available on the bus, but most were not chilled. If the carrying weight is an issue for you, you might opt to bring your own bottle as the stainless ones are somewhat heavy once filled.

I have 2 of these from Tauck. Per the description, it's triple-walled. No wonder it's well-insulated (and heavy for its size):

Does anyone know whether reusable bottles are currently provided on Tauck cruises on Ponant ships?
Yes, we were provided bottles on the Tauck/Ponant cruise we took. They were quite thin, however.
Thanks.
