I arrived at the Intercontinental Paris around 8 AM with GOT. My Air France flight landed early at CDG around 5:30 AM. Breakfast had been served just before landing. Breakfast was available in the hotel's Café de la Paix, at my expense, but I declined. Instead they brought me complimentary tea and biscuits in the beautiful room with comfortable chairs and sofas while I organized my purse and revisited my notes/plan for the day. The Intercontinental stored my luggage and off I went to walk through the Tuileries and over the predestrian bridge to the left bank. Lunch was simple at the Musée d'Orsay café before walking to the Musée Rodin then back to the Intercontinental to check in to my room and relax before a late afternoon walk to Galeries Lafayette and Printemps followed by a light dinner at a café. I truly had a full day's GOT. Breakfast was provided/included the following morning but not lunch. I visited the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, the shops and gardens of the Palais Royal and the Galerie Vivienne. The tour began that evening with dinner at Fouquet's. My flights typically arrive to Europe later in the morning with the only option to reserve timed entry tickets with confidence being later in the day. I received a card last week to remind me to book 2025 tours by July 31st if I want GOT. So it is indeed still offered.
Excellent GOT day Patrice. I love the interior of the Galleries Lafayette and the free rooftop view of Paris. I just looked at the photos from the Musee des Arts Decoratifs and it looks amazing. Totally my thing. Time to book another Paris trip.

Haha! I posted this ages ago. We are also booked so far in advance these days, we always get the GOT.
To think, just a few short years ago, I had no idea what any of you were talking (Taucking?) about.

Patrice, what a wonderful, full day you had and into the next day. Every moment counts when we are away, why waste it.
It includes breakfast. That’s all.
