Passport for Grand Alaska

I am scheduled on the Grand Alaska tour in June. As the tour ends in and I fly out of Vancouver, is it advised that I bring my passport?

  • The days of visiting Canada on the strength of a US driver's license are long over. Regent won't board you without a valid passport though no visa necessary.

I would think Tauck would advise that in the final papers or even before.

They do! It is on the website tour pages in the Before You Book > Travel Documents:

"If you are a U.S. citizen traveling internationally, you will need a passport valid for six months beyond the completion of your Tauck journey to enter Canada and for embarkation."

  • I assumed we needed the passport for Grand Canadian Rockies. I was surprised Tauck in our account did not want that info. They did for all our European trips. I think they have not updated their website.

  • Tauck jace not asked our passport details for ages became they already have them on file.
