Weather in Morocco in January/February

Has anyone gone in January or February. Is the weather good enough to tour and enjoy the sights?

  • You can decide.

  • We will be in Morocco on November 9. We are looking forward to it and it looks like we will have nice temperatures.

  • Just finishing up Magic of Morocco Feb 8-18 2025. We’ve had good touring weather but I didn’t pack enough warm clothes. Our days have ranged from low 60’s- mid 70’s F in the afternoons but mornings and evenings are chilly barely 50 F. I have worn the black cashmere crew neck I brought every single day (wish I brought another) and a light packable down coat I brought most mornings and evenings. Best description I’ve heard is A cold country with hot sun! I’ve also worn my sun hat daily

  • I suppose it depends on where you live in the US when it comes to being chilly. I take my walks in a T shirt when it is 50 degrees F. It’s 17 degrees as I write so I’ll be wearing a puffer jacket over a T shirt this morning, hat and gloves.
We go to Morocco in early April, I will wear long sleeve T shirts and have a puffer vest and puffer jacket. They take up no room in my day bag if I have to take them on and off. On a recent tour I even found I could interchange them, sometimes I wore the sleeveless puffer under the jacket and sometimes over it. Not very elegant, but it did the job.
Unfortunately, my skin is even sensitive to cashmere these days.
