Kenya multi-entry visa not available right now

Both Tauck and VisaCentral advised today that you need 2 single entry visas as Kenya is not issuing tourist multi-entry visas at the monoment. It would have been nice to have been advised when Tauck knew that. It would have saved my group some time.
Kinda frustrated :)

    Not sure I understand why one would need 2 visas. Don't we enter Kenya only once?

    I guess f you are flying to the tour via Nairobi, that might be it.

    I don't believe you need a visa if you are flying through Nairobi unless your layover is greater than 6 hours. Not sure if anyone whose done a layover there can confirm - perhaps TEK if they have taken their trip yet.
