Brief Trip Review - 20 May, 2023

This was our third Tauck tour and definitely won't be our last. It was also our favorite Tauck tour --- by miles. The hotel in Positano offered incredible views, great breakfasts, friendly staff, etc. We would love to stay there again. The Quisisana hotel in Capri was also lovely. Aleph Hotel in Rome was fine, nothing special, but certainly a convenient location. I can't say enough about our Tour Director, Maria, who was friendly, approachable, and incredibly well-organized (and hardworking). We also travelled with a wonderful group, enjoyed great food and plenty to of wine and prosecco. The pace of the tour was perfect - we would spend time in highly travelled spots, which would be followed by lovely sidetours to tranquil areas (for example, City of Rome tour followed by Castel Gandolfo). We never seemed to wait in line for anything - Tauck took care of all logistics. We felt pampered throughout with quite a number of special treats along the way. Thank you, Tauck ---- this tour was the pinnacle for us and we've now become devoted "Tauckers."

  • We're on this tour departing September 2nd. Any recommendations for the time "on your own" in each location?

  • lisajanetx - If you don't mind saying, I'm curious what your first two Tauck tours were that this was your "favorite Tauck tour -- by miles".

Glad you enjoyed it so much and have "become devoted 'Tauckers'".
