Just a "heads up" for those traveling thru Heathrow Airport this summer. I just read an article this morning from "The Points Guy" reporting there will be delays just about every weekend at Heathrow due to ongoing strikes by Security Officers. We flew through Heathrow last weekend. Our feeder flight from Nice was delayed about an hour because of congestion at Heathrow. Fortunately, we had sufficient time to make our connection. Short lines at the in-transit security checkpoint, thankfully.

I fly to Edinburgh via LHR in August on one of the affected dates. I had the choice of a 90 minute or a 4 hour layover. I chose 4 hours, never having had a good experience at LHR, even without a strike.
