Are hair dryers available in hotels in Ireland? I understand we will be required to purchase a G plug type to charge our phones. I am not certain if I need to purchase a voltage converter. Thank you.

Yes there will be a hair dryer. Fyi, you likely won't be able to use it in the bathroom - its a safety thing.
Yes you'll need a G adapter for anything dual voltage like phones, ereaders, laptops, etc.
Don’t take a US hairdryer or it will blow up on Ireland’s power. You will find that most bathrooms don’t have plugs apart from for shavers. An adapter is differential from a converter
