night tour of budapest
For those of you who arrived early to Budapest for this cruise, do you have a recommendation and/or contact information for a specific tour guide to do a night tour? Would like to see the city lights from various vantage points with minimal to moderate walking at the stops.

I am sure your hotel's concierge can assist with either an evening cruise or private car. You can contact them in advance.
We did a night cruise in Budapest to see the illuminated bridges and buildings along the river. It was about 1 hr long; with unlimited Prosecco. It was exactly what we wanted for our last nite. We arranged it through getaguide.com
Nancy, thank you. This tour would work out for us as we have two nights in Budapest between "The Black Sea to Budapest" and the "French Escapades: Paris and the Riviera" river cruises.
To me, Budapest at night is even more beautiful than Paris. We had a great meal at Baglyovar where we dined with a room full of locals, and we asked the cab driver for a tour of the significant illuminated sites on our return trip to the hotel. He took us to Heroes Square, the Chain Bridge and Parliament. He patiently waited while we got out and took photos. Have a wonderful experience in that historic city!
On our recent Budapest to the Black Sea cruise, on embarkation day, the ship didn't leave until almost dark. Then it sailed north past the parliament building, then turned around and headed south. We had a lovely relaxing view of all the lights on our way down river. For us, an additional private Budapest cruise would have been overkill.
Beautiful photos.
SandyFeet - For breathtaking views of Paris at night, view the city from Montmartre, the highest point in Paris.
Thank you to all who have commented. This tour departs in the late afternoon, so we cannot view city lights from the MS Savor. We (four travelers) would prefer a car or van tour the night before the tour begins. I have not reached out to the concierge as yet. If someone has had a wonderful experience with a specific tour guide, that would be great additional information.
