Packing cubes aren't for everybody
I love you, Tauck, and appreciate the cubes you sent...but I need something I can see into. I will stick with zippered freezer bags unless you have something that is either transparent or at least fishnet like the ones I saw in a store.

There are plenty of see through packing cubes on Amazon, I think my were a brand something like Bagail. Lots of colors and patterns and very light. Don’t forget, plastic bags are banned in some countries. Especially African countries.
It's the compression factor that makes these packing cubes so good. You can really pack into smaller suitcases with the kind Tauck sends.
I just reuse bags from many sources (the ones from bedding are very useful), then sit on them to compress lol. Was recently looking at Grove Collaborative and am puzzled why they sell so many empty containers/holders/bags/bottles, etc. Seems counter to their green philosophy. I have same reaction to The Container Store. ♻️
I just now read the original post here and caught the comment about how they should include "fishnet" to see into the cubes. This confuses me because we have received and used the cubes and the Tauck ones do have net sewn into the cover of each cubes. Only the narrow band at the bottom of the cover with the logo is solid. The sides and bottom are a solid heavy nylon fabric which does make the cubes fairly heavy. However, given their construction they are the some of the easiest to pack and utilize the compression feature because you can open them up fully, lay out items smoothly and then uses the side zippers to compress if needed. Other compression cubes we've bought don't open fully, take forever to load and inevitably end up with just a lumpy bulge in the center.
The only thing that came with the cubes that is solid is the drawstring bag they are sent in which could be used as a laundry bag or for something else. The photo I've attached is actually from ebay where someone is selling theirs.
I thought I would not like them at all. Then Tauck sent them to us before our last trip. I loved them! I used to use other bags and found these better in keeping my clothes looking good and they were easy tohandle. We had the mesh so I was able to see what was in them. I did it by catagory.
