Shinkansen- Bullet train journey from Kyoto to Tokyo

If anyone has info. how easy the transfer is, whether the Hotel would transfer the luggage to the Tokyo-Haneda airport and how difficult is to navigate both the Train station and transfer to the Haneda airport.
I'm checking and putting together the logistic on this tour, maybe to book it for the future...
Any help would be appreciated-
Thanks

That said, it's pretty easy. Trains run roughly every 15 mins. The TD gave us money for a taxi from the hotel to the train station (10 min ride). Buy tix at the station. No need to purchase in advance. The ticket kiosks MAY not take US credit cards. I recall one train line didn't but I can't recall which one. So you may need to see a ticket agent or stop at an ATM. I flew from Narita, which was an easy transfer at Tokyo station, as there's a dedicated line to NRT. The people I was travelling with flew from HND and I believe they had to make one transfer a few stations away from Tokyo station.

Re luggage, Japan has a great luggage transfer network. There's a form in the night table drawer that is for luggage transfer. See either someone at the front desk or concierge to fill it out for you as it's in Japanese.
