  • I am new traveller in this community and want to say hi to all community members. I am going with west coast tour usa in vacations and after this trip I am planning a Australia's trip. I want to see “Melbourne Zoo” there because I love animals. This zoo has over 320 species from around the world can be found in a beautiful natural setting just five minutes from the city centre. It also explores the trail of the elephant and the unique native wildlife in the Australian bush setting.
  • Maybe jan would love to help Algernon!!!!!
  • Me thinks this site has become a place for people (ESL students) to practice English! Aren't there sites for that?

Funny you should think that, Alan. I often think the very same thing. And I think I have noticed an improvement in the general standard, lately.

Thank you for your comments on our Zoo, Algernon. They also have a world-renown breeding programme for endangered species. It is certainly worth a visit.

Do you guys have the elephant problem under control? I heard there was a shortage in the Bush.
  • Bush, you say? They have taken to drinking tea lately, but never fear, the natives are revolting.

    Entendez-vous dans les campagnes
    Mugir ces féroces soldats?
Ils viennent jusque dans vos bras
    Égorger vos fils, vos compagnes!

    Shall hateful tyrants, mischiefs breeding,
With hireling hosts, a ruffian band,
    Affright and desolate the land,
While peace and liberty lie bleeding?

    Aux armes, citoyens,
    Formez vos bataillons,
    Marchons, marchons!
    Qu'un sang impur
    Abreuve nos sillons!

Alternative replies: Qué? Sí. No. Whatever. Only bulldust.
  • To all at Tauck Just wanted to reach out and introduce myself. My name is Ben Anderson. I am a safety professional and stay in the air and travel more than I even want to. I also have some surfing expeditions planned for the next 5 years. I plan to share my knowledge and learn from this community. Thanks for having me.

    Hello, Ben.

Well, I can only say that we are a weird mob. Speaking personally. And depending on where you are in the world, you may need to reference and translate that. For readers from the US, I thoroughly endorse education and a knowledge of world affairs.

And I am glad, that as a safety professional, you have mastered the art of staying in the air. When it is appropriate to do so. Terribly messy otherwise.

    Cheers,

    Jan
  • Hello admi. I'm also a new comer like you. Due to some money crisis I can't make much tour right now. I hope that my hard days won't be that long. Please do me a favor, say a little pray for me
