Suit case Vs Duffel bag

in Tanzania: Serengeti to Zanzibar
On the August Serengeti to Zanzibar tour. Can anyone tell us which day (or where)on the tour we part company with our suit case and which day we will see it again?

    Can't remember, but no worries, the duffel is huge and could easily fit everything you had in your suitcase inside it anyway

    On the K&T my wife and I shared one duffel each time - the duffel is that big and the amount of clothes we needed wasn't that large.

    I just did the Serengeti to Zanzibar tour in June. We kept all of our luggage for the first 5 days. Then when checking out of the lodge at the Ngorongoro Crater we had to part with our big suitcases and go on with just the duffels (which are really pretty roomy, so it wasn't a big hardship) until we got to Zanzibar. I mostly left behind my dirty clothes and the stuff I used on the airplane.
