alcohol other than at dinner is a charge?

It appears that while saying inlcusive, if we want a cocktail or glass of wine before dinner it is not included? Surprised as having been on Seabourne and Silver Sea anytime we wanted a cocktail it was covered.. Will be on MS Treasure..Assume pay by crdit card at end of cruise..

We have been on 2 Tauck river cruises and ALL drinks were included. We've had drinks - both wine and cocktails before dinner, wine with meals, and drinks afterwards in the lounge. My liver is always grateful when the cruise is over.

Here is the description of Amenities on board the MS Treasure "Unlimited complimentary beverages aboard ship include regional wine, beer and premium spirits in addition to specialty coffee, water and soft drinks"

Is Sydb talking about a river cruise, maybe the small ship trips have different rules. Sydb have you looked?

The MS Treasure is one of Taucks older river cruise ships similar to the Swiss Emerald. Part of the Jewel line launched in 2011. Possibly Sydb read a older review of the ship before Tauck changed its drink policy to include all beverages all the time - around 2013 or 2014. We sailed on the Emerald in 2014 and definitely didn't pay extra for any drinks. Group we sailed with set a ship's record for # of bottles of wine consumed. Never let a bunch of sailors near a free bar.
