Entry digital QR code
I have seen posts that you get through immigration if you already have a digital QR code for entry into Japan but not sure how or where you get that. I have looked it up a little and found different sites to with different instructions.
Anyone have any information on how to get this easily or will we get this information when our documents arrive 60 days ahead?

We took this tour last fall. Like you, I read up on the QR code process. Then, the Tauck final documents provided a step by step guide. Here is the first part:

I do think it helped to have it printed out.
I did this trip 2 years ago. I printed out the QR code, but per the agent, it wasn't the correct size. So I had to use a kiosk. Wasn't a big deal.
I think ours were on our phones. But we were at the front of the line at immigration anyway. It’s always good to have a good fast walk when you get off the plane to get the blood flowing and then be first in line at immigration…. Even if you have to wait an hour for your bags 🤪
@Lotusgirl - After you create an account, how do you get the QR code. Do you need to enter your arrival date and flight information?
Mike - here are additional instructions from Tauck. Yes, they require flight and other information. My husband and i used our laptop, for easier visuals. Obviously, it can be done on your phone. When the QR codes were provided, we printed them, and also took a picture with our IPhones ( if you use phone for the process, you can take a screenshot).

Thank You so much Lotusgirl! This is really helpful. We like to be as prepared as possible for our trips and this is great help!
Thank you. I'm entering on a cruise so I can't use the QR code - according to their FAQ.
