Venice QR code application

I just received the travel documents from Tauck for this trip in June. In it, it describes the process to apply for the Venice day tripper tax exemption online. I entered the dates for arrival/departure via their pop-up calendar (mid June) and got an error saying the dates are not within range. Is there a limited time frame (such as must be within 30 or 60 days) to apply for this?

Don't know how good the information is but I found this:

To register for the Venice day tripper pass, you can do so up to 100 days prior to your visit. The cost is €5 per person, per day if you register more than four days ahead of your visit, and €10 if you register closer to your visit1. The access fee applies only to day trippers and does not affect those staying overnight in an accommodation facility located in the city.

Don't know if the same 100 days applies to applying for the exemption.

I will be in Venice in early June, and had no trouble registering last week. It was an easy process. I suggest that you try again mid-April, BKMD.

BKMD , I had the same problem with dates that you have had. I called the Tauck office and was told they had received a memo that the tax is only applicable for stays over the weekend. The error message was due to my stay over was on a Monday. No need for exemption.
