We are doing the Norwegian Fiords. Tauck booked our flights, which is unusual for us these days, partly because it’s pretty difficult to get to Bergen from Philly without multiple flights.
I sure hope and expect they will clean up things at EWR fast. It should have happened long ago, and is quite the disgrace, but all eyes are focused on it, and nobody wants to be associated with failure. Where I would stay away from EWR is next year, when FIFA World Cup games, including the Final, will be played at Met Life Stadium. Aside from lots of flights, the traffic in the area will be epic, based upon the Super Bowl fiasco. Add to the mix that some of the tournament coincides with the USA Semiquincentennial (250th birthday), when there will be massive fireworks and a mega Fleet Week, and EWR on some days should be a place to stay away from due to airport and surrounding roadway congestion. Other cities will have some World Cup events and big 250th celebrations, including Philly which will have a World Cup Round of 16 game on 7/4/26 to add to the 250th stuff, so a number of US cities may have some travel dates to be wary of. We are coming up on flight ticketing for that time period, so beware.

Be careful with Newark, lots of delayed flights, feel for you British, maybe it will all be resolved by the time you leave.
