We were able to do our own laundry at Silky Oaks.
We had a bag of laundry done at Silky Oaks. I think it was $50/bag. But, there is also a self serve laundry you can use there. We also gave a bag to a laundromat about a block from the hotel in Sydney. It was $30/bag. And in New Zealand, the hotel in Te Anau had a self serve laundry and there was a laundromat about three blocks from the hotel in Queenstown. Several options to have laundry done.

Our TD arranged for Wash on the Rocks to pick up our bag of laundry at the hotel in Sydney. $16 US.
I did this trip about 10 years ago. As I recall, in Sydney, there was a small laundry store run by a nasty Asian woman about 2 blocks from the hotel. The TD got bags for us, then we met in the lobby and all walked over together. We were charged by the bag, but she tried to upcharge those of us with full bags. We said everyone would leave if she didn't keep her word on the per bag charge, and gave in. It was ready the next day.
