As Egypt is a Muslim country I suspect that alcoholic drinks are limited. Any comments about the availability in hotels or on the ship would be appreciated. Is there an opportunity to BYO?

    We were on the Jewels of the Nile tour in October of 2021. Alcohol was available at the hotels and on the boar. We stuck with beer and wine. I thought the local beer was decent, the local white wine was drinkable and the red wine was bad (although a couple of people in the group seemed to like it). On the boat, one or two glasses of wine were included with dinner.

    IIRC, alcoholic drinks are highly taxed, hence very expensive in Egypt. And Air Egypt is a dry airline.
