Safari day bag size
Is the Tauck “string backpack” that arrived with the Tauck duffel bag, sufficient as a day bag while on safari or is something more/bigger preferred.
Of course it depends on how much one needs to carry but is anything more needed besides binoculars, water bottle, suntan & bug spray? Does it need to be big enough to carry layers of clothes as the day heats up? Thanks for any suggestions.

We use a very lightweight backpack that folds up the size of about three by three inches. It holds everything you need including a warm outer layer if required.
We used the Osprey Daylight plus. It will lie flat in your suitcase, and has more support than the fold up backs.
