same itinerary twice

Has anyone taken the exact same itinerary twice, or do you just stick to the tauck for different destinations? I'd love to hear your experiences!"

Taken K and T twice with Tauck, second time also included Rwanda gorillas. Took Galapagos twice but second time a different circuit, same ship, only a little overlap. Recently went on Tauck Bridges Galapagos tour, very disappointing, key islands missed. Also been to other countries more than once but not with Tauck and different itineraries.

Hi Jeter55, just last month we took a Canadian Rocky trip for the second time with Tauck. This second time was a little different because it was supposed to include an overnight train ride, but unfortunately it got cancelled because of the wildfires. Also we were able to see Butchart Gardens this time. This time there were a lot more people around and the glaciers have receded a lot. Life is short and looking back I wonder if we should have gone someplace different. It was wonderful, but there are more new places we want to see.

We stick to different destinations. Just never felt the need to go on the same tour twice,

I have done the same country/countries twice with different tour companies.

For me, it’s a toss up between going someplace new or returning to an old place and doing it better the second time.. I have discovered that I really enjoy slow, solo travel to package tours.

We continue to explore different destinations with Tauck. Each tour has been outstanding, however, we like to be surprised by unfamiliar destinations and experiences!

We have repeated numerous Tauck land tours; some with the exact same itinerary, some not. We supplement the tour with our own exploration during free time or pre/post tour days. We always learn and experience new things.

Thanks for all your responses. I am considering a Northern Italy tour I did 8 years ago that included Rome and Florence. I loved it and I think I might do it again as there is so much to see in those places. Nice to have choices!

Your rationale makes sense to me. There's so much to see in Italy and with so many prime attractions skipped by Tauck and much more free time on tour than there used to be, you should be able to avoid duplication.

I loved Florence and would also like to visit again. Any tour that included Florence. I don’t care for Rome apart from the Pantheon. Also agree with BKMD’s sentiments.

We have done the Danube river cruise three times. (two have been during the Christmas markets) I would repeat it again!
