Winery Visits. Can you purchase wine at the winery
Have reservation in 2020 and it lists a couple of visits to different winerys and wanted to ask for those who have been on this cruise, during your visit to the winery do they offer any of their wines for sale? This will be my 7th Tauck tour and have always came back with at least 1 bottle of wine purchased during one of our excursions!

Whoops, sorry wrong tour, I’m doing the Rhine Enchantment, no wonder I could not remember a winery tour.
They will be more than happy to sell you a bottle. Just remember it needs to go in checked luggage and must be declared at customs. Many wine shops there as well.
Can't remember which travel newsletter recommended these but thought they were interesting for people bringing wine back in luggage.

Wouldn't have helped with the oddly shaped bottles my husband bought at the wine cellar in Wurzburg but they managed to get home ok with just dirty clothes wrapped around them.
