New Normal

I came across this on the Travel section of the Boston Globe last week. It may be what we can expect on our upcoming travels or even if we decide to go to a local restaurant. Each party has its own glasshouse and to keep social distancing from the staff, the food is brought in on planks which are left on the table. The only time the staff enters the house is after the diners leave.

Comments

  • Perhaps they were really designed for dining outside in the rain. (;-)

  • You can find the discussion of these under mediamatic.net. They are reserved through the end of June.

  • Absurd.

  • Lower the Cone of Silence.

  • I'm half expecting to see Plexiglas partitions between dining areas. The green houses wouldn't fly out in my neck of the woods. We'd all be solarized except at night. They look kind of pretty though.
