Anyone know what the dress requirements are for the castle stays.

    Like any hotel. Castles are no big deal.

    If your stay includes a "gala" event, Tauck will advise you of any dress code requirement or suggestion when they forward the tour information/instructions to you. If your castle stays include either the welcome or farewell dinners, you might wish to dress up a bit. You can also visit the castles' websites and review the restaurant choices for additional information. Enjoy your trip!

    At Ashford Castle the George V restaurant is formal, requiring jackets for men. There are informal alternatives at Ashford if you don't want to dress up but for us eating (I suppose I should say dining) at George V was part of the experience.
