I have an appointment to get the Moderna omicron booster and flu shot on 10/11. Since I have had a reaction to each of the previous 4 Moderna vaccinations, I have a cleared my calendar the following day in preparation for the brief reaction I expect (chills, body aches, etc). Hopefully, immunizing as well as practicing other sensible precautions will safely get us through the winter months.
I had a slight reaction with fever and chills with all but the latest #5 vaccine. I was preparing not to feel well, but that never happened. I did not have a reaction at all to the Omicron vaccine. I hope you won’t either.
I had the bivalent Covid vaccine a few days ago and had no reaction except a sore arm at the injection site. Also had the flu vaccine at the same time.

This vaccine is going to be out of date, a new variant has emerged. Be careful out there.
I think it will be like the annual flu shot- a new brew each year!
