walking sticks for hikes

We will be on the Provence tour September 17, 2023. Will we need walking sticks and are they provided by Tauck as they are on the Switzerland tour? We will be wearing trail shoes.

    You do not need walking sticks. Unfortunately, you will miss the beautiful lavender fields that time of year.

    Nancy, different sites will give slightly different times but basically mid Jun to mid Aug with July usually cited as the peak.

    The weather plays a very important part and with the ravages of climate change upon us, it's hard to tell how much longer they will even exist (so says a recent publication I read.) It's nice to have you back. I hope you are fully healed from your fall.
