I can't believe how fast these trips are filling up. We did this three years ago and had just three vehicles for 19 of us plus the tour director ... one guest rode in front of one as did the tour dirctor. I was thinking of changing our date to one that is not sold out (five vehicles) but it appears that all of the dates that I would prefer are going to be full.

It seems like the really popular ones like K&T, Classic Italy, etc. have been filling sooner and sooner each season!
We normally book small group tours when offered. We did K&T in 2015 and really didn't find 30 people much different than the 24 on small group tours. As you know, except for meals and a few other times, you are kind of touring with just a group of 6, those in your vehicle. Even when the vehicles gather for a sighting, it still seems like a really small group. We hope to do Botswana, SA, Zambia in 2019- now that is a small group. I know British will chime in with one of her stories where there were only 2 or 3 people on a 24 person tour : )

We just did the Zambia, Botswana, and SA trip last year. The camps and other activities limit the size. Really great trip. We chose to do the East Africa trip again, versus South Africa, only because the non-safari activities on the SA trip were things that were really nice once, but we did not need to do them twice. The animals will always be different, so we chose to do the 'pure' safari for our third visit.
You do completely different things in CapeTown from the Zambia, Botswana when you do the Elegant SA. It's a good mix between culture and safari. The cultural parts were some of our favorite of Tauck tours, very moving.

Hi Rona. I went to R.I.T., but we are going July 14. You will love the trip. We are doing it for the second time.
