timeanddate.com historical weather
I came across this website which I have found to be very helpful for historical weather information. It even has weather info for 4 different times of day for each day. It has data back to 2009. Of course, moving forward who the heck can predict, but it's nice to have all this info if you are a data nerd like me.

Another good site is weatherspark.com
Here's another good one: https://weather-and-climate.com/
But the best is just post a "what's the weather going to be in ________________" on the forum."
In two weeks I’ll be in England, Scotland , Wales and Ireland. A friend in Glasgow tells me expect more cool-cold, rainy weather but maybe even warmer so pack and be prepared to layer up and be ready for whatever the weather gods throw at me. I think any previous stats may be meaningless because of our extremes now I.e unpredictable floods, wildfires, storms etc. My 2 cents.
I have been using accuweather.com. Daily, Hourly and Monthly options. Currently using for my Michigan Lakes and Mackinac Island trip in October. Checking against my hometown weather, seems to be accurate.
I agree with the prior two (2) comments. I never use historical weather sites for trips because I do not believe they are updated to reflect the effects of climate change; moreover, I am not interested in reams of data. I am not writing a thesis/dissertation. I merely wish to know the anticipated temperature and precipitation chances. My mobile phone's weather application works fine for my travel purposes.

Here's my advice: carry an umbrella (brolly!) with you at all times. Through some very statistical analyses, the chances of it raining will be 50/50! Safe travels!
