Dubrovinc to Venice tour

We are taking the Dubrovnik to Venice tour. A sports jacket is suggested but not required. Is this nesessary

    If the packing list says optional then it is. If it will bother you to not be wearing one when other men are, then you might want to bring one.

    We took that trip back in 2019 and I don't remember anyone wearing a sports jacket. I'll add that it was one of the most enjoyable tours we've taken.

  • We did this trip April 2023. None of the men on our trip wore a sport coat. It is a great trip!

  • In 10 Tauck trips (including Croatia), my husband has never worn a jacket. (There have been a few where I would have preferred it, but need to pick my battles!). Fortunately for him, there have always been at least a few kindred spirits. (Consequently, we do not go to places where a jacket is required.) He always wears a nice shirt and slacks and looks respectable for the nicer dinners, though.
