Raffles, Long Bar, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands observation deck, multitude of restaurants and shopping malls.
We were in Singapore for a few days. We hired a private guide who took us via an air conditioned car to the botanical gardens and some other things. It was very hot and humid! The guide made the following
recommendations:
If you are up for it, you can consider taking a train to Bayfront, where you can visit Marina Bay Sands. There is an AWESOME light show called Wonder Full that takes place at 8:00pm and 9:30pm (additional show at 11:00pm over the weekend). The whole show took three years and 100 architectural, design, creative, musical, engineering, technical and I.T. specialists to develop the show. It blends light, music and sound. Set to a breathtaking orchestral soundtrack, the 13 minute show was voted “Best New Tourist Attraction” by ASEAN Tourism Forum.
After that, you can head over to Gardens by the Bay to get see the Garden Rhapsody that takes place at 7:45pm and 8:45pm. The Super Trees are lighted up and the lights will change with a special music score. I think it will be a good preview if you intend to visit the Gardens by the Bay further on during the tour

We got an Uber to the Botanical gardens early in the day so humidity was not too bad. Beautiful, especially the orchid area. There is a nice restaurant too.
After the Tauck visit to the Gardens by the Bay, the TD called ahead and booked us lunch at the restaurant on the top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel, excellent food, wonderful views including over the Gardens by the Bay, and a fantastic infinity pool.
