Bringing in my meds and vitamins into London and Dublin
I have many heart ,diabetic medications and vitamins that I plan to bring into London and Dublin. I usually put my daily pills in a clear plastic pouch for each day as this makes it much easier than toting many pill containers. I have a letter from my doctor identifying what I take.
Will this suffice when going through customs ( as my luggage will be tight enough), or will I have to bring all those pills in their original container?

You should be fine.
That's how I pack my medication and I've never had an issue traveling to Europe with them. Nobody ever asked or looked at them. Instead of a letter from the dr I use the MyChart program tied to our HMO to print out a current list of medications. I fold it in half and put into the Ziplock bag along with the smaller daily bags. That's mainly if I have to have medical care they have the full details. I also pack a weeks worth extra just in case there is an issue getting home on time.
I do exactly what Claudia does. Never offer to show your drugs to an immigration officer unless they ask.
