Toiletries and Room Amenities

Would someone let me know what room amenities and toiletries are supplied, i.e. toothpaste, mouthwash insect repellent etc

I would not like to pack duplicates.

Too long ago to remember about Kenya, but last year on the Tanzania trip, definitely no toothpaste supplied. Very Unlikely to provide conditioner at all locations. Some places supply insect repellent wipes. You will be going to the Four Seasons and Mount Kenya Safari Club that we did not go to on our Kenya tour, so don't know about those. There're regular contributors here who will help you out who have done this tour recently

I just found my post about hotel amenities from Tanzania last year. Look at post dated 17th July 2014 titled Practical observations of hotels or similar. Some places are the same you will be going to.

I went on this trip a year ago. Like AlanS, I don't pay much attention to that, but I think I am pretty sure the hotels had the usual things....shampoo, conditioner, lotion....most, if not all, had insect wipes or spray (I wouldn't take any of those things if I went again...including insect wipes.) If all didn't have bug spray/wipes the ones that did had enough to use throughout the trip or you could just ask for more and they will give it to you. Toothpaste...I don't remember any, but even in US hotels that have that, you usually have to ask at the front desk. I had my own toothpaste and brush so I can't tell you about availability of them. They have all the toilet paper you want/need......

This is a great trip, enjoy it.

I remember shampoo, conditioner, and hand lotion. I do not remember any toothpaste, mouthwash, nor insect repellent. We went last June.

I just spoke my better half (the one with a better memory)- shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand/face soap and in some locations insect repellent wipes. No toothpaste, mouthwash, hand cream- about what you get in a US hotel
