We are scheduled for our first Tauck adventure on the Blue Danube. Looking to connect with anyone who might be on that cruise or might offer advice. We've not been on a Tauck cruise. Thanks!

There is a ton of old posts on this cruise and other Danube cruises on this forum well worth spending time reading. Many questions you probably have and someone has already answered. Best wishes.
Scheduled for mid August 2026. Several have said it would be too hot but when I researched average temperatures, it looks fine. Thoughts?
I say it depends on your temperature tolerances. I never travel to Europe in summer because I do not care for hot weather, nor summer crowds.
And these days, who knows what it will be like. Touring in anything over 80 degrees F is harder because you can’t seek shade or A/C when you need it.
LeeHalvorsen - we will also be on this cruise, a group of 4 of us. Also our first time, so I have no answers - only questions as well. LOL! But very excited and looking forward to meeting new people.
We went on the Blue Danube River cruise 10/2021. It was fabulous!! Nice cool temps. Bring jacket for riding on river seeing the castles. Vienna is amazing. Prague is amazing!! Have fun!! Check out FB for posts that include the dinner in Vienna!! KC
